Enter your FBRI username and password, then click OK.If using the CLI is necessary, open a Terminal window. For some versions of Linux, such as Ubuntu, using the CLI will be necessary. Use the GUI to install the Cisco An圜onnect Secure Mobility Client at the root level. Apex is the next most common with VPN Only being a distant third place. Plus is by far the most common as it maps to the old Essentials license type. There are three types currently: Plus, Apex and VPN-only.
Enter .edu in the Ready to Connect to field, then press the Connect button. Open the newly-extracted folder to find the VPN folder. The support contract should be consistent with the license you have for An圜onnect.Go to Start->Programs->Cisco->Cisco An圜onnect Secure Mobility Client to launch the program.NOTE: The VPN will not connect if you are connected to the FBRI wired or wireless network. Click Next in the Cisco An圜onnect Secure Mobility Client Setup dialog box, then follow the steps to complete the installation.Click Run on the Open File – Security Warning dialog box.You will need to rename the file to "sys_attachment.msi" Note: If using Microsoft Edge, the program will download as a "sys_attachment.do" file.Download the Anyconnect VPN client for Windows. Download the latest version of the An圜onnect Secure Mobility VPN client software and open the downloaded file.Please skip to Starting the VPN Client below.
